The Burkina Faso Enquête Multisectorielle Continue 2014 is the result of strong demand from the Government of Burkina Faso to have a coherent system allowing the production of indicators for monitoring the SCADD and the MDGs . The system should be designed so that the indicators produced are comparable and harmonized as far as possible with what is done internationally. It was administered in 4 rounds between January and December 2014. There is a main questionnaire with attached specialized modules implemented in one or more of the rounds. The additional specialized modules were administered to a subsample of the entire sample when a smaller sample is adequate. Administering the core questionnaire for the survey should take 30 minutes. Each additional modules will also be limited to about 30 minutes. The employment and consumption modules were administered in each round.
