The baseline household survey was conducted prior to implementation of a performance-based financing scheme, in the context of two projects financially supported by the World Bank: the Health Strengthening for Better Maternal and Child Health Results Project (PDSS) and The Great Lakes Emergency Sexual and Gender Based Violence and Women’s Health Project (Great Lakes). The survey data were collected in households between June 2015 and March 2016 in 133 Health Zones in 14 provincial health districts (DPS).
