Mbeya (Tanzania) - Urban Green Area classification (ESA EO4SD-Urban)

The Urban Green Area information product contains spatial explicit information on green areas located within the Urban Extent (derived from LU/LC product) of the city. Green areas include linear green features such as river alignments, hedges and trees, as well as public parks, private gardens, forested areas, etc. The Urban Green Area dataset is based on Very High Resolution (VHR) satellite imagery (Quickbird-2 (2004) / Worldview-2, GeoEye-1 (2015, 2017)) by means of automated classification processing techniques
